Effective date: 2026-08-08
This privacy policy applies to the Overflow mobile application (the “Application”), published by Jorge Martínez (the “Service Provider”).
Overflow is a single-player puzzle game. It has no user accounts, no login, and no server operated by the Service Provider. The Service Provider does not receive, store, or have access to your personal data.
Stored only on your device. Your score, best score, coins, power-up charges, daily streak and milestone progress are saved in a file on your device. This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted anywhere, and is deleted when you uninstall the Application.
Collected by Google AdMob. The Application shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, Google’s software collects information directly, including:
This information is collected by Google, not by the Service Provider. It is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, linked below.
The Application requests non-personalised ads only. Ads are selected using general context rather than a profile built from your behaviour, and the Application does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. The Application does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt because it performs no such tracking.
Google may still process a device identifier for frequency capping, ad reporting and fraud prevention, as described in its policy.
Limit ad tracking. On iOS you can restrict advertising personalisation and reset or disable your advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
Uninstall. Removing the Application deletes all locally stored game progress and stops any further collection by the Application.
Google’s own controls. To exercise rights over data collected by Google, including access, deletion and objection, use the controls described in Google’s privacy policy linked above. The Service Provider cannot access, retrieve or delete that data on your behalf, because the Service Provider never receives it.
The Service Provider retains no personal data, as it collects none. Locally stored game progress remains on your device until you delete the Application. Data collected by Google is retained according to Google’s own policy.
The Application is a general-audience game and is not directed at children. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, contact the Service Provider at the address below.
The Service Provider transfers no data. Google, as an independent controller of the advertising data described above, may process it outside your country of residence under the safeguards set out in its own privacy policy.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Application after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
